Identifies roles and responsibilities to the detail level; communicates
tasks and objectives clearly and unambiguously; and ensures accountability on
all requirements. Prepares status reports and briefings for management;
prepares, presents, conducts, and participates in reviews at all stages in

Proposal Director
Manages Proposals and marketing efforts (Corporate Communications,
Brand Refresh, Web Redesign, etc.). Facilitates and supports capture
activities such as win strategy; CONOPs, technical/management/staffing solutions;
and win theme/features and benefits development, collaborating with BD,

Serves as point of contact for opportunities primed by other companies,
coordinating data calls, and writing assignments. Represent the company at

Managed all areas of Federal and commercial proposals from receipt of
requirements through delivery. Analyzed each solicitation and prepared and
managed detailed proposal plans, schedules, outlines, and compliance

Senior Proposal Manager
Served as a contract proposal and marketing manager. Wrote many
successful proposal responses for the US Army Corps of Engineers, US Air
Force, US Army, as well as other DoD and government customers on behalf of my
clients, successfully winning multi-million dollar IDIQ federal contracts.
Acted as lead for new business capture teams in the development of proposals
and other information in response to customer solicitations. Interfaced with
contracting, legal, operations, pricing, risk assessment, technical writers,

Proposal Manager/Brand Specialist
Project managed RFP response team across marketing, sales, SME with
the necessary editorial and administrative assistance to develop RFP
documents. Responsible for producing high quality responses and identifying
key win themes and positioning responses for each request. Worked on tight
deadlines to deliver quality product that not only contained good content but
adhered to and represents the branding and strategies of Wells Fargo. I
managed RFP’s from receipt to award, maintaining a pipeline projecting up to
eight years out. My team maintained a 40 percent win rate and exceeded goal
in my last year by 125 percent.

Proposal Manager
Primary responsibility was proposal manager. I prepared the proposal
plan to provide direction to the development team, reviewed and analyzed the
RFP, including sections L and M, translating it into a coherent strategy for
the proposal development team. I led and maintained processes and procedures
for proposal development. Manage multiple overlapping active proposals among
other business development tasks.
Managed Proposal staff resource including annual and semi-annual
employee reviews and evaluations. Coordinated meetings and participated in
the development of client presentations for client interviews.
During the Proposal development process, I developed and managed the
proposal plan and schedule, structure, develop, and write the proposal
response with input from technical staff and built the response to adhere to
requirements, leveraging existing archived proposal information. Customized
past performance references and resumes to reflect the specific criteria and
requirements in the RFP. Monitored all amendments and modifications. Worked
on multiple proposals, balancing milestones and due dates. Participated in
printing, assembling, mailing, and performing as-needed physical delivery.

Project Coordinator/Communication Specialist
I initially began work at SLCC as a temporary executive assistant,
however, upon completion of my assignment I was asked to stay and fill a
vital role as project coordinator with the Wasatch Front Consortium (WFC). In
this position I coordinated the technology education efforts between the five
local school districts and two community colleges. I maintained and updated
communications, marketing collateral and other tools to support programs and
marketing. I wrote collateral pieces, including press releases, web content,
Power Point presentations, graphics, and other marketing collateral.
Essential responsibilities included maintenance, editing and update
intranet website content and graphics as needed. Support internal corporate
communications campaigns that share information about new programs and media
coverage. Research, write, develop sketches of supporting graphics, and
consult with printing firm representatives on the needs of the particular
project. Present recommendations to marketing team and coordinate completion
of projects. Develop direct mail or e-mail programs, as dictated by the
assignment, and monitor roll-out of the campaign; continue to monitor and
evaluate the on-going project and check for success level at conclusion.
Prepare effective PowerPoint presentations for executive staff, up to and
including the SLCC President. Serve as member of the Special events team,
assisting with selection of site, creation of special marketing materials for
the promotion of events and assisting in the preparation of the event.
